 School of Electronics & Communication Engineering(School of ZTE Telecommunication)
  The College of Electronics and Engineering tries to lay a solid foundation for students, and cultivate students’ practical ability. In addition, the school provides students with a class of basic courses, specialized courses as well as innovative laboratories. In order to provide a good engineering practice condition for students, the laboratories will serve for them throughout the day.
   The school offers three programs for undergraduates and two diploma programs. They are as follows.

 The School of Electronics Engineering aims at training high-quality personnel for pillar national industries such as electrical and electronic(s) industry, automotive engineering industry and mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturers. The school faculty consists of more than 50 teachers including one renowned teacher, nine professors, twelve associate professors and twenty-two lecturers. The school is proud of its provincial educational projects, like “Bases of Electronics Technology” (a Provincial Excellent Course), “Electronics Information Engineering” (a Provincial Feature Program), “Excellent Engineers” (a Provincial Project), Provincial Education and Practice Center of Auto Engineering, Provincial Experiment and Education Demonstration Center of Electronics and Telecommunications. It has more than two thousand students.
 The students are keen on engineering practi
ce and actively participate in extra-curricular activities of science and technology. They take part in various electronic design contests, gaining rewarding results. For instance, they have consecutively won the First Prize in “Freescale Cup” Smart Car Competition for National Undergraduate Students for the past two years. The School of Electronics Engineering is ranked among the best in last several National Contests of Electronic Design and Professional Skills, winning Excellent School Award, Outstanding Organization Award and Innovation Award. The school has received $ 300,000 fund for three years to set up an Altium PCB Lab.


  Graduates of the School of Electronics Engineering enjoy a high employment rate and good job offers. Each autumn, many enterprises come to campus to recruit students. The graduate employment rate is 97.8%, as confirmed by the Annual Report on Quality of Sichuan Normal University Chengdu College by MyCOS DataCo. Ltd., a trusted brand in higher education consulting and outcome evaluation in China.
  While providing good job opportunities for its graduates, the school also creates conditions for its students and encourages them to further their study. Every year a dozen graduates have been admitted by Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and PLA Second Artillery Corps Engineering University.
